Will Kurt
Curious, Creative and Quantitative!
I’m Will and welcome to my website!
Writing, programming and mathematics are my perpetual obsessions and I’m always exploring how these can be used to understand, interact with and impact the world around us. I am the author of Bayesian Statistics the Fun Way, Get Programming with Haskell, the upcoming Damn Fine Stable Diffusion Book as well as the Count Bayesie blog. Alongside all this writing I love building software projects from experimental models of self-organizing agents to tools for interactively guiding the sampler of an LLM as it generates text.
Professionally I have worked for over a decade on creating and shipping AI and ML products at organizations ranging from four person startups to Fortune 500 companies. While my professional and personal interests frequently overlap I’m always on the lookout for interesting ways to understand and solve a problem and new areas to explore from poking around the internals of LLMs to understanding the dynamics of supply chains.
